20 million jobs by 2032 in India! It sounds like a dream, but it is going to come true. Our 2050 target of net zero will ensure we achieve a boost of 7.3% in our GDP, as revealed by the research modelling and research commissioned by the High-level Policy Commission on Getting Asia to Net Zero. The High-level Policy Commission launched in May has four members former United Nations secretary general Ban Ki-Moon, global head and director of Climate Business, International Finance Corporation, Vivek Pathak, former Australian prime minister Kevin Rudd and former vice chairman of Niti Aayog Arvind Panagariya, and global head and director of Climate Business, International Finance Corporation, Vivek Pathak.
