Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has recorded its highest ever job offers via campus placements this academic year. Students accepted a staggering 1,199 job offers from 380 global companies on campus. This exceeds the previous highest placement season from 2018-2019 when 1,151 offers were handed out to the passing batch of students. The standout salary ever offered to a student was $ 2,50,000 on the Madras campus and was achieved this academic year. The average salary of the batch stands at a mighty ₹ 21.48 lakh per annum. Some of the leading recruiters in this placement season were Glean, Micron Technologies, Honda R-D, Cohesity, Da Vinci Derivatives, Accenture Japan Quantbox Research, MediaTek, Money Forward, Rubrik, Termgrid and Uber.
