According to Better Place’s Frontline Index Report 2022, 8 million frontline jobs were created in India in FY 2022. In this research, a comparison between 2020 and 2022 is included. The states with the largest demand and supply for frontline employees in India are Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana, Maharashtra, and Karnataka. These states account for 60% of all frontline workers, and they also account for 65% of total demand. With only 3% of the workforce being female and 97% of the workforce being male, the frontline industry continues to be dominated by men. Read more
