According to a recent Gallup survey, employee disengagement is indeed on the rise, and the trend of quiet quitting is now in “crisis.” This entails that they perform only the bare minimum of tasks and are emotionally unattached to their employment. Whether or not individuals are significantly less satisfied with their jobs than they previously were, it makes logical that the idea of quiet resignation has gained popularity in the aftermath of comparable movements like the Great Resignation and the anti-work movement.
